My mind is racing,
my breath has been taken away,
for I never thought you'd be
taken from me again,
until that dreadful day.
Life has taken its course,
and theres nothing I can do,
except pray each night,
that God will bring me back to you.
I'm not only losing a friend,
but a person I love,
who will always be a part of me,
even when I'm in heaven up above.
When we're together,
I feel like everything around us is
frozen in time,
and all there is left is you, me, and
our never-ending memories.
Do me a favor, and keep in mind,
that no matter how hard it gets,
this love will have no regrets,
for you are the key to my heart.
